I don’t know if any person has impacted my thoughts on Christian ministry and life more than Metropolitan. What I appreciate most, however, was that fact that he told me that he literally prayed for me every single day. To this day, it baffles me that a man who led such an enormous ministry was able to prioritize his prayers for me. I felt very loved by Metropolitan, and maybe that’s the best statement to end with.

I know Metropolitan K. P. Yohannan from many vantage points. First, as the most significant Christian leader of our generation—one committed to following truth wherever it leads. Then as a husband, a father, a grandfather and true friend. ... Our conversations were always seasoned by his passion to reach those who have not yet heard the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. ... I never had a better friend or role model.

On behalf of the Anglican Church of Rwanda and the Rwanda Interfaith Council and on my own behalf, I express our heartfelt condolences on the passing of our father in God, our friend, the humble leader and visionary. [He was] a godly man who had expressed and demonstrated his heart for Rwanda particular and Africa in general. We will all miss him but cherish his time with us.

Very few people have had the impact on me that KP Yohannan has. He walked in the light of eternity and very closely with our Lord. After personal meetings with him, I would go to my knees in my bedroom and seek the Lord with the words: 'Father I want to know you how KP knows you.' His passion for the lost world drove him daily. He is missed, but his impact is still felt. He has shown the way forward in discipleship and love for our Master. We will all soon be before the Lord, may our lives matter for eternity.

We were so saddened to hear of K.P.'s passing. It's one of those events that is difficult to understand. Our hearts go out to his family. We count it a privilege and a blessing to have known him (even though we never met him in person), and to have been a small part of the great work that God has done through GFA.

What a great man of God! My life was changed from reading several of his books. I was transformed by looking at life and Christianity from a totally different perspective, which really changed my trajectory in my relationship with God.

We first learned about GFA when we received his free book Revolution in mission and love his spirit for mission. Also when we learned about Bridge of Hope, his love for children, we decided to sponsor two children since 2012 till date. Our deepest condolences go to the wife, entire family and ministry. K.P. finished well and his work will forever follows him. Good night K P till we meet at Jesus feet. We love you but Jesus love’s you more.

God used him to get to us, accept us as a part of gfa, and give us all the opportunities! He was truly a man of God and I believe that he is happy with our father in heaven. Thank you for all the great work and your vision.
We miss you and you will always be remembered, dear Metropolitan!

I am so saddened to hear of this, but knowing where he IS - in the arms of our Savior - gives me blessed assurance. I am praying for the family and friends and coworkers who have all been blessed by his life. I am confident he heard our Lord say, “Well done, good and faithful servant,” upon entering His presence.

What a legacy he has left behind and what a thought to know where he resides now for eternity. Well done faithful servant. Rest peacefully in the arms of the Father.

I first heard about Gospel for Asia when I received his book, Revolution in Missions for free. That alone touched my heart and I have been giving ever since. I am so grateful that K.P. Yohannan saw the vision God had for him and the ministry he started. It has allowed me to give to a part of the world that I may never step foot on. I know that there are people walking up to him right now and saying, Thank you for giving your time to the Lord. Only God knows the purpose in this situation. I am just so thankful that his legacy will carry on to touch many more lives.

I first encountered Brother K.P. by reading his book, and it opened my eyes to the ways God is moving in the national missionary movement. I was so blessed to be able to meet him at Set Apart! I'm so thankful for how God has worked in my heart through reading his words and seeing his faithful work as a humble servant of God. May we continue the mission of Christ as faithfully!

I read Revolution in world missions while in college. It was what made me what to become a missionary. I thank the Lord for this man’s example of love of all Christians and for his eternal mindset. May we all live in this way and have the abundant life Jesus promised. Rest in Power K.P.
