Since 1979, we have been committed to serving the “least of these” in Asia, often in places where no one else is serving, so they can experience the love of God for the first time. GFA supports national workers serving as the hands and feet of Christ in four main ways. Sponsoring national missionaries to minister to people’s needs, sponsoring children, investing in community development and helping families in need of care or during disasters.
“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.” —Zechariah 4:6
Our mission in life is to be devout followers of Christ and to live lives fully pleasing to Him. God has given us a special love for people in need who do not know of Christ's love, and it is our desire to minister to them and help them through ministries like education programs, health initiatives and practical gifts, and through the spiritual transformation that brings about peaceful hearts, restored relationships and mended lives. We do this all in community and in partnership with the global Body of Christ.
GFA World has a heart to invest in the future generations. One of the main ways we are able to do that is through our discipleship program. Young adults from around the world are invited to come be a part of the ministry where they get the chance to learn and grow alongside other followers of Christ who are searching to live a life pleasing to the Lord.
These are just a few short videos of some of the men and women that have gone through the program and how it impacted them personally.
“For half my life I have known and worked closely with Dr. KP Yohannan…that's over four decades.
“From its early days up until the present I have witnessed firsthand the incredible growth of the Believers Eastern Church throughout Asia. It is an amazing testimony to the life-changing power of the Gospel and also to K.P.'s remarkable leadership skills.
“I have seen his understanding of the Christian faith expand in ever so many positive ways. More recently, I have watched him respond humbly to the criticisms of those who for whatever reasons have attacked him.
“His preaching still stirs my soul.
“I believe 100% in his integrity and am honored to serve as one of GFA's Board of Directors.”
—Dr. David R. Mains, Chapel of the Air radio broadcaster and founder of the 50-Day Spiritual Adventure
“I have known Brother K.P., the staff and ministry of Gospel for Asia for nearly 40 years. I know the leadership, the team, and more importantly, I have been to Asia and seen the work firsthand. I have been to Bridge of Hope centers, villages where they minister to those with leprosy, water projects, hospitals, churches and so much more. Gospel for Asia has had a phenomenal impact on an area of the world with tremendous needs. I cannot state too strongly how much I endorse the people of GFA, their mission and their vision for the future.”
—Chip Lusko, Calvary Chapel pastor
“GFA is an invaluable partner to the local church for the work of the Gospel. They have richly blessed my congregation and have been a source of blessing in my pastoral ministry.”
—Pastor David Cartwright, Russell Memorial United Methodist Church
"KP Yohannan and Gospel for Asia have profoundly impacted my life. As they always have been, they are on the very frontlines impacting millions of lives and doing it with the care and expertise of those who actually live among those they serve."
—Rev. Johnnie Moore, Author
