My GFA Story
Since my youth, God, in His patience and mercy, has been drawing me toward Himself: His life, His heart, His values. Beyond saving my soul through Jesus Christ, He has impressed on me the enormous love and desire He has to save not just me but also every person living on this planet. In high school He gave me a burden for those in Asia who are not yet reached with this good news, and now, at GFA World, He has put me to work in reaching them. I am serving in Texas as a part of a work much larger than myself to reach not just those who have yet to hear in Asia, but also Africa, and ultimately throughout the whole earth.
What I do
I am serving at GFA World as a database specialist in IT. My team enables the proper handling and interpretation of a mountain of information with which our ministry is entrusted. I am specifically tasked with creating various reports and programs that enable other parts of the ministry to best handle their time and resources. By facilitating the work of our office here in the U.S. we are able to send more workers out to minister to those who don't yet know God's love in Asia and Africa. I work in Texas to enable the establishment of churches on the other side of the planet, in places where none yet are, all for the sake of reaching more people with the life-giving news of Jesus Christ, and saving them from hopelessness and the shadow of death.

GFA World engages in so many brilliant opportunities for those who are underprivileged in society, and I love the many different ways we can enable churches to freely give gifts to help folks get on firmer footing. I have a special love for the gifts of sewing machines combined with free tailoring classes!
Hobbies and Interests
I love to sing, and God has recently given me the opportunity to serve on my church's worship team as a vocalist. I am in the process of teaching myself to play guitar, and I hope to be able to write my own songs. While I'm not necessarily skilled at it, I enjoy baking, especially cookies.

Whatever role the team member plays in their administrative office—from contacting ministry supporters to processing donations or designing web pages—each one fills a crucial need within the ministry and enables more than 100 national missionaries to minster in Asia.
